Currently On The Easel (COTE)

This section displays some of the work currently on my easel. I tend to have several pieces in progress. I use a layering technique to create depth and as I wait for the material to properly dry, I switch to a different piece. These in progress pieces will become available as they are completed.

Colours of autumn

This will become a three panel piece depicting the many colourful leaves that appear every year in Northern Ontario.

The panels are 12"x12" so the final piece (all framed in one) will be 12"x36" oil on canvas

Winter warmth

This piece depicts the setting sun across the narrow lake channel.

24"x30" Oil on canvas

In progress painting of sunset through the trees
In progress three panel painting of a maritime inspired scene

Everywhere and nowhere

This will become a three panel piece inspired by the colours of the Canadian maritimes and is part of my personal collection.

The panels are 24"x48" so the final piece will be 24"x144" Acrylic on canvas

Days end

This piece depicts the end of a great day on the water. The setting sun provides just enough light to navigate back to the dock.

30"x40" Acrylic on canvas

Currently untitled

This piece depicts a typical late summer afternoon in Prince Edward Island. The distant shoreline showing the downtown core of Charlottetown hinds of the busy crowds looking for a nice restaurant to relax and taking the views along the waterfront.
